Snoopy and Peanuts Gang Featured on New Collectible Swiss Miss Tins and Holiday Packaging
Peanuts collectors will have another batch of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and other character-themed items to look for this holiday season, this time in the grocery aisle.
Conagra Brands has announced a new collaboration bringing Peanuts characters to a lineup of limited-edition Duncan Hines baking mixes and Swiss Miss hot cocoa products. While most of the collection is centered on food, several of the releases are being positioned as collectible or giftable items, including a Swiss Miss hot cocoa tin featuring Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
The collectible Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Tin includes four envelopes of Swiss Miss milk chocolate-flavored hot cocoa and features artwork of Charlie Brown and Snoopy on the canister. It has a suggested retail price of $5.99 and is scheduled to begin arriving this month.
Swiss Miss is also releasing a four-box Peanuts hot cocoa set featuring different characters across the packaging. The assortment includes milk chocolate with Charlie Brown and Snoopy, hot cocoa with marshmallows featuring Linus, peppermint featuring Peppermint Patty, and dark chocolate featuring Lucy and Snoopy. Each box contains four envelopes, with the complete set priced at $9.99.
Another item aimed at Peanuts fans is a series of single-serve Hot Cocoa Ornaments. The ornaments contain either Charlie Brown and Snoopy-themed milk chocolate cocoa or a Linus version with marshmallows and are designed to be hung on a Christmas tree. They carry a suggested retail price of $1.79 each. Swiss Miss is also bringing back its seasonal peppermint cocoa six-pack with special Peanuts packaging for $3.29.
The collaboration extends to Duncan Hines, where the packaging itself could appeal to Peanuts collectors. The limited-edition lineup includes Charlie Brown-ie Blondie Bar Mix inspired by Charlie Brown’s yellow zig-zag shirt, Snoopy Crinkle Cookie Mix, a Great Pumpkin Bundt Cake & Glaze Mix, Snoopy Skate Yellow Cupcake Mix, Peppermint Patty Brownie Mix and a Lucy Snowball Cookie Kit. Prices for the Duncan Hines products range from $2.49 to $5.49.
The Duncan Hines products will remain in stores through the end of the holiday season, with additional seasonal Peanuts offerings planned for 2027. The Swiss Miss assortment is also beginning to arrive this month.
For Peanuts collectors, the collaboration adds another group of inexpensive branded items to a character merchandising universe that already extends far beyond comic strips and animation. Peanuts recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, and Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the cast continue to appear across thousands of licensed consumer products and collaborations around the world.
