Jazwares Bringing UGLYDOLL Back With New Plush, Figures and Collectibles

UGLYDOLL is getting a new chapter, with Jazwares teaming up with Pretty Ugly to bring the long-running brand back to retail with an all-new lineup of plush, figures and collectibles.
The companies announced a long-term partnership that will see Jazwares design, develop, manufacture and distribute a new global UGLYDOLL collection inspired by the brand’s original artwork. The first products are expected to arrive at retail worldwide in fall 2027.
The new lineup will include iconic plush, multiscale figures and accessories, collectible vinyls, role-play toys and costumes, construction sets, novelties and additional products.
Jazwares said the goal is to celebrate the humor, individuality and visual style that helped UGLYDOLL build a following among collectors and fans while introducing the characters to a new generation.
UGLYDOLL began in 2001 as an independently created designer plush brand and later grew into a global franchise. Familiar characters from the line include Wage, Ox, Babo, Ice-Bat, Moxy and Tray. The brand has long centered on celebrating imperfections, individuality and self-expression, with its distinctive character designs helping it develop a multigenerational fan base.
“UGLYDOLL is one of those rare brands that has built a passionate, multigenerational fan community by celebrating creativity, authenticity, and the idea that our differences are what make us special,” said Judd Karofsky, Chief Business Development Officer at Jazwares. “Jazwares brings IP to life in toys and collectibles like nobody else can, and our partnership with Pretty Ugly honors the brand’s incredible legacy while introducing these unforgettable characters to a new generation. We can’t wait for longtime fans and first-time collectors to experience what’s coming.”
“From the beginning, UGLYDOLL has been about creating characters that people connect with on a personal level,” said Drew Matilsky, co-founder & managing partner, Pretty Ugly LLC, UGLYDOLL. “Watching fans read their character tags and form their own emotional bonds with these dolls has always been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey. Seeing those same fans, now grown, share UGLYDOLL with their own children is truly special. We’re excited to see Jazwares continue that legacy for a new generation.”
The partnership adds UGLYDOLL to Jazwares’ portfolio of toy and collectible brands, which already includes properties such as Squishmallows, Pokémon, Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Five Nights at Freddy’s and Disney.
Jazwares says the first products from the revived UGLYDOLL collection are expected to debut worldwide at retail in fall 2027.
