Iron Studios Debuts First Walt Disney MiniCo Collectible Exclusively at D23
Iron Studios has turned Walt Disney himself into a MiniCo collectible for the first time in the company’s history, with the new figure making its debut exclusively at D23. The Walt Disney MiniCo Creators figure is priced at $39.99 and was among the new collectibles Iron Studios brought to the Disney event for attendees to purchase before their wider release.
The company revealed the Walt Disney MiniCo on Instagram, where it also noted that the D23 version contains a small Easter egg for collectors to discover. Iron Studios did not identify the Easter egg in the text of its announcement, instead directing fans to look through the images accompanying the post. Swiping through the post reveals that the exclusive version for D23 includes a reproduction of one of Walt Disney’s original EPCOT concept sketches.
The Walt Disney figure was part of a larger group of new Iron Studios collectibles receiving early access at D23, which runs from August 14 through August 16. Iron Studios said attendees could purchase the new releases immediately at the event rather than waiting for them to become available through the company’s traditional sales channels.
Iron Studios also introduced Walt Disney in its larger Art Scale line for the first time. The company’s D23 announcement listed a Walt Disney Deluxe Art Scale 1/10 alongside the Walt Disney MiniCo Creators figure, giving collectors two different new representations of Disney’s founder. Both were described by Iron Studios as exclusive to D23 USA for their initial availability.
The Walt Disney releases shared the D23 spotlight with new Marvel collectibles tied to Avengers: Doomsday. Iron Studios offered early access to a Doctor Doom on Throne Art Scale 1/10 statue and a Doctor Doom MiniCo, with the company positioning the event as an opportunity for collectors to get new releases before they reached the general public.
For Disney collectors, however, the $39.99 Walt Disney MiniCo stands out as a first for the Iron Studios line. In addition to being the company’s first Walt Disney MiniCo, its D23 debut and event-specific Easter egg give the release an added connection to the 2026 fan event.
