Disney Lorcana Reveals Serialized Maleficent, Collector Boosters, Figment Card and More at D23 2026
Disney Lorcana collectors got a major wave of new reveals at D23 2026, including the game’s first serialized cards, new Collector Boosters, a Figment promo card, new Hyperia City cards, a Beauty and the Beast Curator’s Collection and several D23-exclusive products.
Ravensburger used its Quests Ahead for Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game panel to preview products and sets planned for the rest of 2026 and through 2027. The company also revealed that it is already planning Lorcana sets through 2029 and beyond.
First Serialized Lorcana Cards Revealed
One of the biggest announcements came from the upcoming Into the Inkdark set. Ravensburger revealed Maleficent – Biding Her Time, an Illustrious card that will be part of Lorcana’s first serialized card program.
Each set will contain six different Illustrious cards, with only 23 copies of each card printed. The cards will feature premium foiling and bespoke accents. Into the Inkdark is scheduled for 2027 and will focus on darker Disney characters and villains, including Hades.
New Collector Boosters Coming in 2027
Into the Inkdark will also introduce a new product aimed specifically at collectors.
Collector Boosters will contain 12 randomized premium foil cards, each featuring a special foil treatment, with higher-rarity cards appearing more frequently than in standard packs. Ravensburger said Collector Boosters will become part of every new Disney Lorcana set beginning with Into the Inkdark.
Quantities of both Collector Boosters and Collector Booster Display Boxes will be limited and sold only through Ravensburger Play Hub stores, the Ravensburger Online Store and select Disney locations.
Hyperia City Gets New Cards
Ravensburger also shared more details about Hyperia City, the next Disney Lorcana set scheduled for prerelease on October 16, 2026.
Five new location cards were shown at D23: Land of the Dead – Marigold Bridge, Merlin’s Shop and Smithy – Magical Market, Khan Industries – Greenway Landmark, Institute of Technology – Honey Lemon’s Lab and Khan Stadium – State of the Art.
The set will also introduce a new energy source called Ink drops, which provide one-time bursts of ink power. Three new character glimmers were shown as well: Minnie Mouse – Urban Visionary, Donald Duck – Taxi Driver and Mickey Mouse – Best in Town. Mickey Mouse – Best in Town will also have an Enchanted variant.
Héctor Rivera and Figment Cards Revealed
Collectors purchasing the special 2026 D23 Collection at the event will receive an early Hyperia City card featuring Héctor Rivera from Disney and Pixar’s Coco, marking the first time a character glimmer from that story is being introduced into Disney Lorcana.
Disney Parks collectors also got another major reveal: Figment will appear on a Disney Lorcana card for the first time as part of the game’s return to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts in 2027. Disney says Figment will be featured on an exclusive EPCOT card, with additional details still to come.
Beauty and the Beast Curator’s Collection Coming in 2027
Ravensburger also revealed the theme of the next Curator’s Collection. The October 2027 release will celebrate Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as the film marks its 35th anniversary.
The alternate-art cards will use artwork inspired by the stained-glass imagery from the film. Cards shown during the panel include “Be Our Guest,” Mrs. Potts – Enchanted Teapot, Belle – Hidden Archer, Lumiere – Fiery Friend, Gaston – Intellectual Powerhouse and Beast – Tragic Hero.
Pegasus Promo, Pooh Playmat and More
D23 attendees also got early access to Quest of Wonders: An Illumineers Lorebook, a new product designed to expand Disney Lorcana’s world and story. Everyone who purchases the book will receive an exclusive Pegasus promo card, while D23 buyers will also receive a themed bookmark.
Another D23 product is the Winnie the Pooh – Hunny Wizard Premium Foil Playmat, featuring premium hunny foil details and stitched edges.
Ravensburger also previewed Cosmic Quest, another Lorcana set planned for later in 2027. The space-themed set will include cosmic versions of Disney characters, including Ariel wearing an astrosuit.
A new Disney Lorcana Visual Guide is scheduled for February 1, 2027, compiling artwork from multiple sets while providing more information about the game’s Illumineers, glimmers and storyline.
For collectors, the biggest D23 announcements were the first serialized Illustrious cards limited to 23 copies each, the new premium Collector Boosters, the exclusive Figment and Héctor Rivera cards, the Pegasus promo and the expanding Curator’s Collection line.
