Porter Airlines Launches Limited-Edition Blind Box Collectibles for 20th Anniversary
Porter Airlines is marking its 20th birthday with a new limited-edition blind box collection built around some of the airline’s most recognizable features. Called The Little Things Blind Boxes, the collection includes five miniature collectibles, with each sealed box containing one surprise item.
The series is available now for presale while supplies last, with each blind box priced at $22 US, or approximately $30 Canadian. Shipping is expected to begin in late November.
Each collectible has a 1-in-5 ratio, with 1,000 of each item available. The five-item lineup includes Mr. Porter, the airline’s raccoon mascot, a De Havilland Dash 8-400, an Embraer E195-E2, Little Drink and Little Luggage.
Each blind box also includes a keychain so the collectible can be used as an accessory. The boxes measure approximately 4.1 inches by 4.1 inches by 5 inches and contain the collectible inside a sealed foil bag.
Golden Porter Pass Chase
The collection also includes a much rarer chase. Porter says there are 20 chances to find a Golden Porter Pass, with odds of 1 in 500. The Golden Porter Pass can be redeemed for 20 free flights, equivalent to 10 round trips, to any Porter destination.
Porter described the prize as something it has never offered before. “We’ve always believed care shows up in the little things, which for us are tangible and intangible details that make passengers feel welcome and cared for,” Porter Airlines President Kevin Jackson said.
“As part of our 20th birthday celebration, we want to capture that feeling in something you can actually hold. These blind boxes are more than a travel souvenir, they’re little Porter moments, small enough to fit in your hand.”
Limited-Edition Anniversary Release
Porter said the blind boxes mark the beginning of its 20th birthday celebrations. The airline launched in 2006 and based the collection around details associated with its passenger experience, including its aircraft, drinks served in glassware and Mr. Porter.
The limited-edition collection is available exclusively through Porter’s 20th anniversary website while quantities last. The Golden Porter Pass promotion is open to eligible residents of Canada and the United States, including Washington, D.C., but excluding New York and Florida.
The promotion ends December 15, 2026, or when supplies are exhausted, whichever comes first.
