One Piece Monkey D. Luffy Trophy Card Sells for Record $713,700

A rare Monkey D. Luffy trophy card has sold for $713,700 at Goldin, setting a new public sales record for any One Piece trading card.

Goldin announced the result after the 2024 One Piece Chinese Year One World Championship 1st Place Monkey D. Luffy Trophy Card closed in its Summer TCG Elite Auction. The card is presented inside an 8-by-8-inch display. According to Goldin, the $713,700 final price is the highest public sale ever recorded for a One Piece card.

The trophy card was created for the first-place finisher at the 2024 One Piece Chinese Year One World Championship and features series protagonist Monkey D. Luffy. Unlike cards pulled from traditional booster packs, championship trophy cards are tied directly to competitive play and are produced for a very limited group of top finishers.

The Goldin lot was one of the headline items in the auction. The eventual $713,700 result represents another major jump for the high end of the One Piece Card Game market.

A previous record was established in December 2025 when a 2024 Monkey D. Luffy World Finals Gold promotional card graded CGC Pristine 10 sold for $315,600 through Alt. At the time, CGC described that transaction as the record for a One Piece card..

However, Goldin topped that record earlier this year with the sale of another high-profile Luffy card. A 2024 Korean serialized top-prize Monkey D. Luffy card #001/077 reached $440,420 in Goldin’s Spring 2026 auction.

At $713,700, however, the Chinese Year One World Championship first-place trophy now sits at the top of the publicly reported One Piece card market.
