Freddy Fazbear Animatronic From Spirit Halloween Going for Huge Money on eBay
Spirit Halloween’s new Freddy Fazbear animatronic has quickly become one of the hottest collectibles of the 2026 Halloween season, with limited store availability sending some examples into the thousands of dollars on eBay’s secondary market.
One listing on eBay shows a Freddy Fazbear sold that was listed for $29,998.98, but the listing had a best offer option, so it’s possible that it went for much less than that price. However, there are also sold listings for $14,000 and $10,000 without best offer options, but it’s always possible the transactions weren’t completed.
In addition, there are numerous sold listings and current items with bids in the $2,500 to $3,5000 range. It’s safe to say that the going rate on the secondary market is well above the in store price of $500.
The officially licensed Five Nights at Freddy’s animatronic is exclusive to Spirit Halloween and is being sold in limited quantities at select stores. Spirit specifically warns shoppers that inventory is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
That scarcity has created an early rush among Five Nights at Freddy’s fans hoping to secure one before local supplies disappear.
An Instagram video from a Spirit Halloween opening shows customers waiting outside before a store’s grand opening and then running inside once they are allowed through the doors, rushing to reach the Freddy Fazbear animatronics before other shoppers.
Freddy Stands More Than Six Feet Tall
Spirit Halloween’s Freddy Fazbear stands 6 feet, 6 inches tall at his highest point.
The animatronic uses a servo motor to create a realistic arm-waving motion, while another movement brings Freddy’s microphone arm to life. His body moves from side to side using an internal spring system.
Freddy also features LED digital eyes with moving pupils and plays video game-inspired audio.
Even transporting the figure requires some planning. Spirit says the packaged Freddy box measures approximately 4 feet, 8 inches tall, 2 feet, 8 inches wide and just over 2 feet deep. The package weighs 55 pounds.
The retailer recommends shoppers bring a second person to assist with loading and use a vehicle such as an SUV, minivan, pickup truck, large crossover or station wagon with fold-flat seats.
Limited Supply Turns Halloween Prop Into Collectible
Spirit Halloween describes Freddy as its first official Freddy Fazbear animatronic and says the figure is available only in limited quantities at select stores.
Those restrictions appear to be helping turn what was intended as a Halloween display into a highly sought-after Five Nights at Freddy’s collectible almost immediately after stores began opening for the season.
The scene of fans waiting outside and rushing into stores resembles the release-day behavior more commonly associated with limited sneakers, trading cards or exclusive toys.
For collectors who miss the limited retail supply, the secondary market may currently be one of the few alternatives. But the prices appearing on eBay suggest that securing Freddy after the initial store rush could cost substantially more than buying one directly from Spirit Halloween.
With the Halloween season only beginning, it remains to be seen whether additional store inventory will cool the aftermarket or whether Freddy Fazbear will remain one of this year’s most difficult Spirit Halloween animatronics to find.
