Monster High Michael Myers Doll Sells Out During Early Access, Mattel Opens Pre-Orders

Mattel’s new Monster High Skullector Michael Myers doll sold out of its Fang Club early-access allocation on August 7, ahead of its general public release.

Since the Fang Club early-access allocation is gone, the Mattel Creations product page now lists the public pre-sale, allowing fans to pre-order The $70 collectible is inspired by Michael Myers’ appearance in the 1981 horror film Halloween II and is part of Mattel’s Monster High Skullector line.

Fang Club members received first access beginning at 9 AM PT on August 7. Mattel said only a limited number of dolls were being made available to members during that window, which was scheduled to run while supplies lasted. Those Fang Club units are now gone.

Mattel is taking a different approach with the general public launch. The company says interest in the Michael Myers doll has been high enough that the public release will be offered as a pre-sale, allowing more collectors an opportunity to purchase one. Orders placed through the pre-sale are expected to be delivered by April 2027 at the latest.

The Monster High Skullector Michael Myers doll stands 10.5 inches tall and has 11 points of articulation. Its design draws heavily from Halloween II, including Michael Myers’ familiar jumpsuit, which Mattel has reimagined with red glitter spatter. The doll also comes with several accessories inspired by the movie.

Those include pumpkin and knife earrings, a pumpkin purse based on the film’s poster, a knife accessory and a belt featuring charms including a syringe and hatchet. The black platform boots also include a horror-movie collectible reference. The heels are designed as a VHS cover and tape that can slot into each other.

Mattel gave the character a Monster High-style appearance with grayish skin inspired by Michael Myers’ mask, black lipstick, red glitter tear tracks and long black hair. The doll comes in detailed window-box packaging featuring scenes and Easter eggs from Halloween II and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Monster High Halloween II Michael Myers Doll is a Mattel Creations exclusive and is limited to two per customer.
