Arena Club has brought together Derek Jeter, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joe Burrow for a new national advertising campaign celebrating the excitement of sports card collecting.

Called “The Chase,” the campaign features stars from baseball, basketball and football while focusing on the anticipation collectors experience when searching for a particular card or opening a pack.

The campaign debuted August 6 with a national television commercial developed in partnership with creative agency Orchard. The commercial follows collectors through the streets of Miami as they chase Jeter, Antetokounmpo and Burrow.

Arena Club said the campaign is designed to represent the anticipation, excitement and possibility involved in trying to find a sought-after card.

“As someone who has always appreciated the history and storytelling behind every card, I’m excited about how we’re making that experience more accessible to more fans,” Arena Club co-founder Derek Jeter said. “We had a great time making ‘The Chase.’ It really captures that anticipation factor of what you might find next when you’re a collector.”

The promotion will extend beyond the television commercial with a Golden Slabs chase beginning in September. Arena Club will place 40 Golden Slabs inside selected Slab Packs between September and December. Ten Golden Slabs will be released each month.

Collectors who find one will receive an entry for a chance to win a football weekend in Los Angeles in February 2027. The prize package will include premium travel and accommodations, two tickets to what Arena Club describes as the biggest game in football and access to exclusive experiences taking place during game week.

Arena Club’s Slab Packs are digital packs backed by physical trading cards. The company said the format is intended to add transparency and excitement to the pack-opening experience.

“Every collector knows the feeling of the chase, the anticipation, the discovery and the possibility that the next pack could hold something incredible,” Arena Club CEO and co-founder Brian Lee said.

Lee said bringing Jeter, Antetokounmpo and Burrow together allowed the campaign to connect three sports and three separate fan bases through a shared collecting experience.

Arena Club was founded by Lee and Jeter as a platform for buying, selling, trading and displaying sports cards and other collectibles. Its services include artificial intelligence-powered grading, digital verification and a vault for storing physical cards.

The company said “The Chase” reflects its goal of building a community where collectors from different sports can discover cards and share their collections.
