Build-A-Bear Launches 2026 Halloween Collection With New Jumping Spider Plush

Build-A-Bear Workshop has launched its 2026 Halloween collection, introducing a new Jumping Spider plush alongside returning seasonal favorites, Mini Beans collectibles and Halloween-themed bag charms. The collection is part of the company’s “Spooky Stuff You Love” campaign and became available online and at participating Build-A-Bear Workshop locations on August 6.

The new Jumping Spider serves as the centerpiece of the assortment. Build-A-Bear said the plush was inspired by the growing popularity of real jumping spiders among animal enthusiasts and social media users. Collectors can purchase the character as a full-size plush, a smaller Mini Beans figure or a bag charm.

Through Build-A-Bear’s Make-Your-Own Experience, guests can personalize the Jumping Spider and other plush characters with outfits, sounds, scents and accessories. “Halloween continues to be one of our most anticipated seasons because it brings families, fans and collectors together through our signature Make-Your-Own Experience,” Build-A-Bear Workshop CEO Chris Hurt said.

The collection also brings back the Posable Bat, which features movable wings that can be arranged for different displays. A Giant Posable Bat offers collectors a larger version of the returning Halloween character.

Other new and returning plush include the Mystical Werewolf, Enchanting Kitty, Batty Kitty and the Owloween Cauldron Mashimal. The Owloween Cauldron Mashimal continues Build-A-Bear’s Mashimal line, which features characters created by combining animals, objects and other playful designs.

Build-A-Bear is also bringing back the Pumpkin Pal Teddy through its Vault Collection. The Vault Collection is used to reintroduce older fan-favorite designs for current customers and collectors.

The Halloween Mini Beans lineup includes smaller versions of the Jumping Spider, Midnight Bat, Mystical Werewolf, Batty Kitty and Candy Corn Longhorn. Collectible bag charms will also be available featuring the Jumping Spider, Bat, Spooky Kitty and Spooky Cute Bear.

Additional seasonal clothing, scents, sounds and accessories allow collectors to create different versions of the Halloween characters.
