One-of-One Champions League Trophy Superfractor Card Sells for Record $40,260

A one-of-one trading card featuring the UEFA Champions League trophy has sold for $40,260, setting what Topps says is a new public sales record for a trophy card.

The 2025-26 Topps Chrome UEFA Champions League Superfractor was sold through Goldin. The card is numbered CL-1 and features the Champions League trophy rather than an individual player.

The card carries Topps’ Superfractor treatment, the one-of-one parallel traditionally distinguished by its gold spiral refractor pattern. Only one copy of the Champions League trophy Superfractor was produced.

Although trading-card sales records are typically associated with star athletes, rookies and autographs, the $40,260 result shows the demand that can surround unique cards depicting major sports symbols.

The Champions League trophy is one of the most recognizable prizes in international club soccer. Its appearance as a one-of-one Superfractor gave collectors a chance to own the rarest parallel of the trophy card from the 2025-26 Topps Chrome UEFA release.

Topps did not identify the buyer in its announcement.
