Disney Cars’ Lightning McQueen Superfractor Card Sells for Record $16,500

A one-of-one Lightning McQueen trading card has sold for $16,500, setting a new record for any card based on Disney and Pixar’s Cars franchise.

Topps announced that the Lightning McQueen Dinoco Blue Image Variation Superfractor had completed a $16,500 sale.

The one-of-one card features Lightning McQueen in his Dinoco Blue design rather than the character’s familiar red racing colors.

According to Topps, the transaction established a new all-time record for any Cars trading card.

The sale surpassed the previous Lightning McQueen card record of $11,211, which Topps announced earlier in 2026.

“This Lightning McQueen trading card just sold for $11,211, making it the most expensive Lightning McQueen card of all time,” Topps said when announcing the earlier result.

That record has now been broken by more than $5,000 with the sale of the Dinoco Blue Image Variation Superfractor.

Topps did not identify the buyer, seller, or sales platform in its announcement.
