Yankees Giving Away George Costanza Calzone Bobblehead on August 27

The New York Yankees are combining baseball and Seinfeld with a new George Costanza Calzone Bobblehead giveaway at Yankee Stadium.

The collectible will be distributed to the first 18,000 guests attending the Yankees game on Thursday, August 27. The promotion is presented by Starr.

The Yankees announced the bobblehead with the line, “Excellent little calzone you got there, Costanza,” a reference to George Costanza’s love of calzones on Seinfeld. The character, played by Jason Alexander, worked for the Yankees during part of the television series.

The team’s announcement shows Costanza holding a calzone, connecting the giveaway to one of the character’s best-known food-related storylines in an episode called “The Calzone.”

The bobblehead joins a busy stretch of collectible promotions at Yankee Stadium. The team’s August schedule also includes bobbleheads featuring Rumi from KPop Demon Hunters, Cody Bellinger and Hello Kitty before the Costanza giveaway takes place later in the month.

Fans must have a valid ticket for the August 27 game and receive the item when entering Yankee Stadium. The Yankees state that purchasing a ticket does not guarantee a promotional item, with distribution limited to guests in attendance while supplies last.

Each guest is eligible for one giveaway item per valid same-day ticket and entry. Promotional dates, designs and distribution details remain subject to change or cancellation.
