PSA Opens Fifth Global Card-Grading Facility in Plano, Texas to Expand Grading Capacity

PSA has officially opened a new card-grading facility in Plano, Texas, expanding its capacity as the company reports continued record demand from collectors.

The fully operational Plano location is PSA’s fifth grading facility worldwide. It represents a major expansion of the company’s existing presence in the city, where PSA previously centralized its specialized ticket authentication and grading services.

“As a Plano native, opening this facility in my hometown means a lot to me,” PSA President Ryan Hoge said in the announcement. Hoge said the additional capacity will help PSA respond to growing demand while continuing to handle collectibles entrusted to the company by customers.

The facility is part of PSA’s previously announced $200 million investment in its global infrastructure. The initiative is intended to expand operations, modernize facilities and improve turnaround times for collectors around the world.

PSA said its Plano operation is independent but located within the same complex as Beckett. Both companies are part of the broader Collectors organization.

The Texas facility joins PSA’s established grading hubs in Santa Ana, California; New Jersey; Boca Raton, Florida; and Tokyo, Japan.

PSA is also preparing to open a European facility in Frankfurt, Germany. The company expects PSA Europe to become fully operational later in 2026.

Founded in 1991, PSA provides authentication and grading services for trading cards and memorabilia. The company says it has authenticated and certified more than 100 million collectibles since its establishment.

PSA is a division of Collectors and is headquartered in Southern California, with additional offices in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Paris, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.

The opening of the Plano hub gives PSA another full-scale grading location in the United States as the company continues investing in its global processing network.
