One-of-One VeeFriends Black Cat Card Sells for Record $132,000

A one-of-one VeeFriends trading card featuring the Very, Very, Very, Very Lucky Black Cat has sold for $132,000, setting a new auction record for the collectible brand.

The 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends Erupt! SuperFractor was sold by Fanatics Collect in its July Premier Auction on July 24. The final price, which includes the buyer’s premium, came after 28 bids.

According to Fanatics Collect, the $132,000 result is the highest price ever paid for a VeeFriends card and is twice the previous record.

The card is numbered one of one and comes from the Erupt! insert set in 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends. The Erupt! checklist features 20 VeeFriends characters, with the standard versions already described as extremely scarce. The insert also has Black Lava Refractor parallels numbered to 10 and one-of-one SuperFractors.

The Very, Very, Very, Very Lucky Black Cat is described by Fanatics Collect as one of the cornerstone characters in VeeFriends. The auction house compared its importance within the brand to characters such as Charizard and Pikachu in Pokémon.

The card did not receive a numerical condition grade, but it was authenticated by Certified Guaranty Company. Fanatics Collect said the card’s certification number was active in CGC’s online database when it was checked on July 6, 2026.

VeeFriends was created by Gary Vaynerchuk and began with digital collectibles before expanding into physical products, including several trading card releases. The record sale shows that the highest-end cards from the brand are now capable of reaching six-figure prices at auction.
