Cooper Flagg Signs 1-of-1 NBA Debut Patch Autograph Card at Fanatics Fest

Cooper Flagg signed his one-of-one NBA Debut Patch Autograph card live at Fanatics Fest NYC, giving collectors their first official look at one of the biggest chase cards coming to Topps basketball products.

Topps shared footage of the signing on its official Instagram and YouTube accounts. Flagg admitted that he was “a little nervous” before adding his autograph to the card in front of the Fanatics Fest crowd.

After signing the card, Flagg joked, “What would you do if I just ran away with it right now?” When it was suggested to him that he should eventually try to buy it, Flagg replied, “Maybe second contract, you know.”

Flagg also offered up advice to whoever the lucky fan is that eventually winds up with the card. Flagg said, “Hold on to it. I think it will gain in value as I go through my career. So this would be a good piece to hold on to.”

The card features Flagg’s NBA Debut Patch and is the only card of its kind. Its one-of-one designation means only a single copy was produced.

Topps said the card will be randomly inserted into a pack of Topps Chrome Update, putting it into circulation for a collector to pull after the product is released.

The signing took place during Fanatics Fest NYC, where Topps and other Fanatics Collect businesses have been showcasing new cards, exclusive products and collector experiences.

With Flagg personally signing the card during the event, the NBA Debut Patch Autograph is expected to become one of the most closely watched cards in Topps Chrome Update when collectors begin opening packs.
