Pokémon TCG Live Adds Mega Evolution—Pitch Black

Pokémon TCG Live has added Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, giving players access to new digital cards, Battle Pass decks and cosmetic rewards.

The Pokémon Company announced that Mega Evolution—Pitch Black is now available in Pokémon TCG Live. The update is available through the Pokémon TCG Live platform on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

The release gives players a new way to experience Mega Evolution cards digitally. According to Pokémon, the update includes new Battle Pass decks, along with cosmetic rewards and other content tied to the new expansion.

Pokémon TCG Live players can earn rewards through the Battle Pass by completing daily quests and playing matches. The new Battle Pass includes decks built around Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, giving players a starting point for trying the new cards in the digital game.

The announcement is aimed at Pokémon TCG Live players rather than physical card collectors, but it still connects to the broader Pokémon TCG collecting world. Digital releases give players an early or convenient way to test cards, learn strategies and see how new Pokémon and Trainer cards work in actual matches.

Mega Evolution has been one of the most recognizable mechanics in the Pokémon franchise, and its return in Pokémon TCG Live gives players another reason to revisit the digital platform.
