Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda Toy Line in the Works From Hasbro

Hasbro is teaming up with Nintendo for a new toy line based on The Legend of Zelda.

Hasbro just announced a new multi-year licensing partnership with Nintendo. Under the deal, Hasbro will create products based on The Legend of Zelda franchise, with the collaboration set to begin in 2027.

Collectors will get an early look before then. Hasbro said the first reveals will include three 6-inch scale figures, which will be shown at San Diego Comic-Con from July 23 through July 26, 2026.

Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro, said The Legend of Zelda has captivated fans for decades through its lore, characters and sense of discovery. He said Hasbro plans to combine Nintendo’s storytelling with Hasbro’s experience in action and role-play toys to create products that let fans play, explore and build their own adventures.

The Legend of Zelda franchise began in the United States in 1987. The series is built around exploration, discovery, action and adventure, with Link and Zelda’s battle against Ganondorf at the center of stories set in the world of Hyrule.

The announcement did not include character names, pricing, release dates or retail details for the first figures. For now, the confirmed details are the multi-year Hasbro and Nintendo licensing partnership, the 2027 launch window and the first look at three 6-inch scale figures at San Diego Comic-Con.

Hasbro describes itself as a games, IP and toy company with brands and partner properties across physical and digital games, toys, licensed consumer products, location-based entertainment, film and television.
