Tamagotchi USA Road Trip Returns for 30th Anniversary Celebration
The Tamagotchi USA Road Trip is returning for a second year, this time as part of the brand’s 30th anniversary celebration.
Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America announced that the 2026 Tamagotchi USA Road Trip will visit eight cities across the country, giving fans a chance to take part in free activities, shop exclusive merchandise and celebrate one of the most recognizable virtual pets in toy history.
The road trip is designed for longtime Tamagotchi fans, collectors, families and newer fans discovering the brand for the first time. Visitors will be able to take part in interactive games and activities, see the latest Tamagotchi products, shop exclusive merchandise, take photos and connect with other fans.
Tara Badie, Senior Director of Brand Strategy at Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, said the company wanted to bring the tour back after seeing the response from fans during the first Tamagotchi USA Road Trip. She said the 30th anniversary gives the company a chance to visit new cities, meet more fans and create new memories with the Tamagotchi community.
The 2026 tour begins August 15 and 16 at Mall of America in Minneapolis. It then heads to Greenwood Park Mall in Indianapolis on August 22 and 23, Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus on August 29 and 30, Lehigh Valley Mall near Philadelphia on September 5 and 6, Westfarms Mall in Hartford on September 12 and 13, Crabtree in Raleigh on September 19 and 20, Mall of Georgia near Atlanta on September 26 and 27, and Wolfchase Galleria in Memphis on October 3 and 4.
Admission to the Tamagotchi USA Road Trip is free, and no tickets are required. Fans are encouraged to follow Tamagotchi USA on social media for tour updates, special announcements, exclusive surprises and more event details before each stop.
The tour is part of Tamagotchi’s 30th anniversary year. The brand debuted in 1996 and became known for its handheld virtual pets, which let users care for a digital companion. Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America describes Tamagotchi as a cultural icon that has grown with generations while continuing to evolve with new features, styles and technology.
